Hi guys I am in need of some help, I have a old school z650 chop I have rescue from a garden, I have just got a set of forks from a z1000 they have the air pipe between the yokes like the gpz 750 air cooled model, and a front wheel from a z750e with the 7 bolt fitment and are 10 7/8 diameter, can you tell me what calipers would fit, I have been offered some gpz750 calipers from a 83 model I believe to be a water cooled bike, could be wrong any advice would be much appreciated cheers

The 1983 GPz750 was air cooled, and the calipers are different from the earlier type calipers. Just guessing but unless that Z1000 fork is a similar year as the calipers, I don't think the calipers will fit.

I have just managed to source some 1982 gpz 750 r1 caliper for the twin shock model, they have the same disc diameter and the mounting holes on the fork match up with the caliper bracket so I will let you know when they get here if they fit lol
