As a side note, since I've upgraded the rear brake on my Z1 to a Grimeca caliper and disc brake setup, I'm probably going to switch over the fronts to Grimeca/AP racing next winter as well... because I'm an idiot and need things to match.

I started another thread on this because my Z1 has KZ900/1000 forks and calipers-the Z1 apparently had the same forks as my H2, but the 1000's caliper mounts(distance between the holes) is greater. So a new longer adapter would have to be fabricated and that's where it might get complicated. I can take the adapter off my H2 and bolt it to my 900's fork, and see the mm difference. I'm guessing the second hole might be 5mm more than the H2/original Z1.
I'll search some more but don't think anyone has made an adapter plate for KZ1000/EX500 calipers-
