Does anybody know the exact clutch inner/outer, cable/cable bushing length under normal conditions and the clutch pulling travel for the actuator mechanism for a 900/1000?

I can't imagine a clutch cable cooking on a KZ. I've owned my 1977 KZ650-C1 since April 1977 and never had any problem with the clutch cable getting too hot. Ed

If you use the right length cable properly routed along with the late model clutch release (the one with all the little balls inside of it) you should not have any problems. Even with real heavy duty clutch springs, my clutch lever pull is not that bad!!!! I have to chuckle a bit when I see a hydraulic clutch set up on a KZ. I come from the KISS theory of modification, KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID!!!! If the KZ's needed a hydraulic clutch set up, don't you think Mr. Muzzy would have had one!!!!!!
