How to take off rear brake lever was created by Wilcocar
My rear brake is sticking meaning the brake pedal won’t come back up unless I put my foot under it and pull it up. I know it’s not the caliper, completely detached from everything except the frame it’s still tough so I assumed it’s just gummed up in the lever itself I don’t know if it’s pressed on or seized up on there or what tried everything not coming off. Trying to take it off seamed self explanatory then this happened letting it sit for a bit with corrosion X on it to see if it loosens up. Maybe there’s something or a trick I don’t know!

I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

Have you disconnected the spring?

They're notorious for developing rust on the pivot pin 'cause many owners seldom if ever lubed them. Keep it wet with penetrating oil, keep working it down & up while pulling on it. Patience. There's likely decades of rust & crud in the pivot. Assuming you removed the acorn nut & washer, it'll slide off eventually.
