Your bike is a mix of KZ900 bodywork with some LTD and aftermarket parts on a KZ1000A. The KZ1000-A1 came with a single front disk - with the caliper ahead of the forks. It also came with a nice 4-2 exhaust - and not a turnout exhaust - nor did it have an LTD seat when it left the factory,.
If you don't trust my knowledge of your bike, post a picture of it for others to help you understand what you have...

The cable he needs would normally be used on the LTD model - which did have the calipers behind the forks. Our part number is TU06-3123

You should have measured the one the broke on your bike, as I said I have a pile of them.
