1992 KZ1000p Brake Lines was created by idmurp
So sent my brake lines off to a supplier to get new braided ones made up, and a couple of weeks later they have no record of receiving them....so anyone got a list of the lengths/fittings of the brake lines for a 1992 KZ1000p?

Aren't they the same as a regular KZ1000 or KZ1100?

If other models don't have the same part numbers, then you can't assume anything. Brake line lengths can vary depending upon things such as the forks, rake, handlebars & master cylinder, and possibly the front wheel size & frame.
If it's any help, the lower hoses for the 82 KZ1000P are listed as L = 550 mm. The 92 should have the same frame as the 82.
The upper hose may be different because the 92 has a more compact front brake master cylinder, so it could use a longer upper brake line.

According to Partzilla, the front upper hose (master to splitter) is the same part number as all the other KZ1000s 1982 forward. The other three hoses seem to be unique to the P10-P12. I don't know what is different,. Hopefully, somebody who has one can chime in with measurements.

Does the shipping company have a record of them being delivered? The reason I ask is I had the same situation with Galfer. They said they never got them but the tracking number shows them being delivered and they were eventually able to track them down.
Excellent service BTW...
Good luck,
Jim

Do you have a Harley/ Custom builder Bike Shop nearby?
All the new HD and Chopper stuff is 10mm.
Take some rope / cloths line etc. Mock up the size's you need. Like end to end . Banjo hole to banjo hole.
There are so many aftermarket items. They sell lines by 1 inch increments. All the fittings with different angles.
All these parts screw together.
If the shop is cool and respectful to all motorcycle riders? They should be able to help you!
Just don't go knocking on any Patch holder 1% er club house. They might beat you up for fun!Because you own a Rice burner :woohoo:

I'm in the UK so generally dont get the Harley VS Jap issues so much!
The bikes in bits atm, Im waiting for the swingarm bearing to be removed by a local machine shop (they did not want to move) when its back if I have to Ill do the wire and guesstimate method.
The part numbers dont have the measurements and fittings they might be the same. I can get custom made up, that what I was doing when they went walkabout.
The tracking number says it was delivered, the company say they have no record and were not interested in talking to me when I phoned, and wont be getting any work from me again

They dont have any contact details on their website other than an email which always makes me nervous. Have you got a physical address/number for them?
