Swingarm Pivot Lock Nut Size was created by Zach
Hello everyone,
I have a 1983 kz550 LTD Shaft. I'm looking to remove the swingarm and I can't seem to figure out what wrench I need.
Any advice is appreciated!

It should be a 22 mm metric lock nut, part # 92015

Have you considered buying a set of sockets rather than buying them one at a time? In the long run it will save you money and headaches. Ed

I have like 4 sets of sockets! It's not a 22mm .
If I put my calipers on it it's like 29mm. It seems a bit obscure, that's the reason for my question.

22mm isn't the wrench size, it's the ID of the nut or the size/diameter of the bolt that the nut fits. If you're measuring slightly less than 29mm,
then get a 29mm wrench or socket. If it measures over 29mm, but less than 30mm, then you probably could use an SAE size.
auto parts stores sell individual sockets, so you could buy a couple & return whatever you don't use. or you may be able to borrow a socket as some auto parts stores provide loaner tools.
1-1/8" = 28.58 mm ... 1" = 25.4mm >> 1.125 x 25.4 = 28.575
1-9/64 = 28.97 mm
1-5/32" = 29.37 mm
1-11/64" = 29.77 mm
1-3/16" = 30.16 mm
....
