Probably a dumb question... but does anyone know of an aftermarket KZ900 airbox? I've seen one on Ebay in the past year and it went for a ridiculous amount of money. There's a silencer on there right now for $180. I'm really not a fan of pods and would like to go back to stock on this. Also.. those of you with pods, do you do anything to help support the carbs in the back?

Thanks Steve, I've seen those on Ebay. For originality though, which is better, having pods or a Z1 airbox on a KZ900?

I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

KZ 900 airboxes are extremely rare nowadays but if you want originality you will have to pay.
I don't know anyone who makes a repro for KZ900's. Maybe try Webike. Here is a link.

I’ve got a Z1 airbox on my 78 1000. Fits great and leaves lots of room.

Try contacting him through ebay if he doesn't have any listed.
