Sportster shocks on a '78 KZ400 question was created by Kzkrazy
I've read a lot of people are putting Sportster shocks on their KZ400s so I bought some off eBay and the eyelet is too small. I've read that you have to swap them out with the OEM shocks but I can't get them out. How do you remove the rubber in the eyelets?

I used a c-clamp & appropriately sized deep sockets. and probably silicone spray as a lubricant.
