Kz200 seat cover options was created by catfishsalad
Looking at replacement seat covers for my kz200 and it seems like I can save a couple weeks of shipping time if I can used a kz400 cover instead. Anyone have dimensions on a kz400 seat?

You probably ought to get the correct seat cover. An ill-fitting cover is probably going to be more trouble to install & probably won't look very good afterwards. Whatever seat cover you get, it will probably have instructions. I installed a Travelcade saddlemen seat cover which fit perfectly. The instructions suggested using 3m Super 77 spray adhesive & only spray the top of the foam, not the sides. I did some common sense prep beforehand, including sanding the remaining dried up stuff from the old foam.

this is what I’ve got. May end up cutting out a bit of foam and reshaping a new piece where it’s damaged. Down the road I may hoop the frame and fit a brat seat, so I’m not going to go crazy making this perfect. I’ve used super 77 on other seats as recommended and got good results. Thanks!
