I need a rear master cylinder for my 1977 KZ1000 A model. I put a kit in it that was purchased from one of the KZ parts suppliers. It leaks. I need a really nice one for this project. If someone has an NOS, let me know. Tom

I believe those are calipers, not master cylinders.
If he has an LTD, it looks like this.

Based on the cross reference chart, it is the same for all the 1977-80 1000s, including the police bikes.

Yeah, those are the rear calipers. I need the master cylinder that hooks to the brake pedal

I think you will be looking for a needle in a haystack trying to find a new NOS rear master cylinder. You may be better off trying to figure out why yours is leaking after a rebuild. Was the inside bore messed up at all? You may want to try to rebuild it again and make sure to hone it out if you do. Otherwise your next best option might be to find a good used one to replace the original.

I did hone the cylinder out and it was in good shape inside. I bought the aftermarket rebuild kit and I think it's just best to use the OEM so I ordered brand new OEM from Partzilla

Ok, so the OP didn't give an update on his master cylinder after two weeks. Always post the problem but rarely the solution. I'll give it shot on my end. Discovered my rear master cylinder was leaking too. Difficult to tell at first because the dust cover was tight enough around the push rod that it was holding the escaping brake fluid. Got an OEM rebuild kit from Z1E and had it rebuilt in about an hour. Three days later and no leaks with a good firm pedal. Hope it stays that way. Now back to your regular programming.
