Will the lowbrow hardtail weld on kit work on the E model? I cant tell if there's any real difference in the frames from what I can see. Just curious if anyone has done this yet...I also didn't see a topic on this in the search but then again i'm not a computer whiz...so I apologize in advance if I missed it..Thanks!

I don't know, but the 650-CSR / 750-Ltd kit is probably a close match. The primary differences would be the steering head angle & the 750E has provisions for mounting the plastic seat cover or tail light cowling, a desirable feature on vintage Kawasakis. The 750E tank mounts the same & the shape of the frame where the seat fits is very similar if not the same & the engines mount the same. If you take the plunge, save the rear section >> it might be worth something to someone. I would think long & hard before cutting the frame, especially where they say to do it.

Hardtail? I guess you don't ride much. Are you building a bike for a show? Ed
