Hello, I am planning on buying Master cylinder for a KZ650 with a 750 cc motor in it. It is running a single caliper set up. The master cylinder bore size is 12.6 mm. Is that too small for my setup?

16mm is for a dual disk front brake. 12.5mm is for single disk. There are also master cylinders with a 14mm piston bore, but I'm not certain of their application. The KZ master cylinders I've seen have either 1/2 or 5/8 cast into the underside of them >> 1/2" = 12.5mm & 5/8" = 16mm.
I installed a mc from a Honda CBR500 (12.5mm) onto my 81 KZ650-CSR w single disk Fr brake.
