They look slightly different from the original OEM I removed, but seem to be holding up ok.
Matched up.
The front sprocket holes were smaller, so I had to modify the nut locking tabs to fit.

The wear on the surface that counter sprocket reminded me of the wear on my original counter sprocket (see image below) although mine was probably worse. On my KZ650-C1 I found that the chain adjusters were mounted on the wrong sides. The two chain adjusters on the KZ650-C1 are different than each other in that one has a washer permanently attached to it, and if that adjuster is mounted on the wrong side the rear wheel is shifted slightly to one side.
This may not be the case with the KZ1000 models, but for anyone with a KZ650-C1 who reads this it’s worth noting. Ed

Z1 slack adjusters have fixed washers on both sides. They can be switched from side to side but they need to go in right side up so that the adjusting mark is next to the swingarm.

Seriously, I can't imagine what looks to be ~.065" - .125" offset to cause much side wear, but stranger things have happened.
