Hello, I need a bad aluminum rear drum brake sprocket. I cut diameter down just to make a 3/8" spacer on the rear hub for the one I'm using. Just makes it easier. Running a 3/8 offset up front. Thanks

What are the hole and center diameters? I have a junk one from a box of stuff that came with my dad's Z1. It's aluminum and it looks like the stud diameter is 130mm? It's yours if you want it. I also measured the thickness, and it's 0.359" as opposed to 0.375".

Hello D'. Yes, the Z1-KZ900 rear measures: 130mm from bolt center to center
And the I.D. opening is: 3.862" / 98mm.
This is how I used this one, I also had to countersink the reg. sprocket. Tap the hub and used 7/16" flat heads. For clearance. A little crude. But I did this 15 yrs. ago. Let me know

We have a nylon 530(?) rear Z1 rear sprocket we'll never use. Mates to a Z1 sprocket carrier perfectly. Came to us in a parts lot. Looks new. Yours if you want it for cost of postage.

A buddy of mine with a Z1 got talked into one of those nylon sprockets 40+ years ago, I think he ruined it with the first hole shot

Hi Jim, Sure, that would work great for what I need! Hope things are good. Great time to self quarantine in the Garage with motorcycles. B) B) I picked up this old KZ with a dragstrip engine on it! Built by Paul Gast @ FBG. Has nice Lester mags,! I am going to mount this Sun rim with 3/8" offset with a 5.5 M/T slick. Going to restore the Lesters. At least I can play with this bike while I decide what to do with it. Take Care! Stay in touch. Marty in Buffalo.

Interesting float bowls on the carbs. I have never seen anything like that before.

Common on the Lectron Racing carbs. "Lectron", an old snowmobile carburetor. These are what made Paul Gast's Business grow, besides his original 2 Stroke days. Paul fitted an adjustable Main Metering tube for large flow, wide open. And the rest was History. Then a few yrs. back one of Paul's employees, Kevin G. sort of got ahold of the original patent. And moved to Texas and runs the Lectron Business. I don't know personally? If there was any bad feelings between the two? 90% of drag bikes run Lectrons "TRONS"

If those bowls were good enough to race with I can only assume they would have been satisfactory for street use. Would have been a real boon for use on Mikuni's when checking and maintaining float level. At least there would be no questions about where your fuel level was.
