Aloha guys.
I need help with my seat rail. To make the long story short, I think my seat rail is bent just the little. Seat cowl is not evenly spaced, looking from behind, and seat have hard time locking. The bike never saw accident, but could have friend's car tapped from behind. So long ago, I can't remember.
Anyway, I need it to bend down a little. Is it possible? If so, just how do you do it? Frame is already painted, but I'm ready to bite the bullet. I didn't take any measurement, but I think I need to bend it down from little behind the shock mount.

you will be surprised.
i just straightened up a harley fatboy frame that had flipped end over end down the ditch.by heating the forging's and beating it with a 3 foot long section of 4x4.the owner couldn't believe his eye's lol.
you may need to lever the 2x4 in and if it is not giving have someone else hit it in stategic areas with a section of 4x4 post.be careful as you don't want to bend or indent a tube so be mindful of what you are doing and go slow. lot's of eyeballing.that's all anyone is gonna use to check you anyway.
hth,
leon

Like Leon said, my go-to is 2 x 4's and pipe clamps.
Here I had the opposite problem. the rear was sagging down on one side.

Thanks guys for all that info.
I'll try the easiest first, which is the 4x4 or 2x4 method. Never thought about pipe bender. I do have one that'll fit 1/2 pipe, so I'll give a try if the wood method won't do it. Should be able to get the bender.
In any case, I'll be sure to post the result. Once again, thanks guys.
