I can’t find anything in regard to the rear of my 1978 1000LTD. It has the same rear caliper as the ‘76 LTD. My B2 supplement manual doesn’t reference the rear pads at all. The included photo is of a used caliper bracket I purchased for a rebuild while I kept the bike on the road till all related parts are refreshed or purchased. I don’t know if this was factory installed or the P.O. had replaced them and possibly not correct. I have all pieces ready but want to make sure I get the pad A installed correct.

Thanks for helping.

In my opinion the shim orientation of the A pad is correct. Should be the same as on the front caliper.
