I suspect there an error in the 1979 serial number. There is a very easy way for him to tell if the bike is a 1977 or 1979. The 1977 KZ650-B rider's foot pegs are bolted to the frame with 1 bolt each. The 1979 KZ650-B foot pegs are bolted to the frame with 2 bolts each. Ed

I can get the DMV to clear up the title mistake that says 750cc
