removing air pressure gauge line from front fork was created by holdfast
Hello all.
Newbie here in that I have owned 70's kawi's for years, but not really worked on them that much. (always just worked)
Anyways, I'm looking to pull the forks off a 78 Kz1000 and I'm not sure how to remove the air pressure gauge line from the top of the fork. I don't have a manual with this info.
I attached images and am hoping its simple. Thanks for any feedback.

Those are aftermarket parts. I'd loosen the triple clamp pinch bolts and slide the forks up a little then tighten the lower pinch bolt. Disconnect the crossover hose, and use a crescent wrench and spin the top caps off. Before doing this I'd order up some nice new Sonic springs and find some OEM top caps. Drop in the new springs (after changing the fork oil), install the new top caps, flush the caps with the triple, and clamp it all down.
