VIN sticker, does it have to be there?

Will it survive powdercoat oven? Any tips on keeping it and masking around?
Does it really have to be there or just VIN in metal will be fine?

But One of our members makes new ones if needed..
Powdercoat oven will cook it

Right. Mine is made in US, hence a sticker. Here is yours:Interesting! That sticker is completely different than the original sticker on my 1977 KZ650-C1. Maybe they changed it in 1978 or maybe the bikes made in the US, like the 1978 one, had a different sticker than those made in Japan like my 1977. Ed
