Stainless brake caliper pistons was created by stinkfinger
My 1981 KZ750E brakes are sticky, so I pulled apart the calipers to see what's going on.  After cleaning the pasty grime off the pistons, I found the chrome to be pitted (photo of the worst one).  I found a UK company that makes stainless pistons.

Brake Masters UK

It looks like you can buy an entire caliper rebuild kit, or just the pistons ala-cart:

Anyone have experience with their stuff?

I also priced out OEM on Partzilla, which comes to ~$185 for contents equivalent to the kit linked above.  My inclination is to go with the stainless pistons and OEM seals... opinions?

HANDS DOWN! Brake Crafters! Excellent quality! Many members on here have purchased.
I am on my 3rd kit for 76 KZ900 front calipers! They sell on ebay, but direct phone purchase, you get a discount.
And it looks like they have your kit!
Even the rubber items are superior to oem in my opinion!
Plain & Simple!

Brake Crafters says they use OEM pistons which I like.  Their kit price is just a few dollars more than an OEM piston from Partzilla so there is good value there.
