Is this thing working? Is this thing on?

Rear Brake Anti-Rattle Clips and Shims was created by Buzz Nichols
I pulled the rear brake assembly off my '78 KZ1000Ltd to find the pads were just kind of flopping around in there—no anti-rattle springs and no shims. Does anybody know where I can source these parts? My searches so far haven't yielded anything.
As always, thanks in advance.

Appears someone swapped in a 1979 B3 caliper.

A quick search on Kawasaki 43086-002, brings up several sources.

Yeah, Kawasaki got rid of the shims in '79. They changed the piston design to include an insulating pad, I believe to allow for the use of metallic compound pads. The shims didn't really work with the insulator.
When I rebuilt my '78 Z1R rear brake I bought the '79/80 style pistons from Brakecrafters, and then left out the shims.
As for the springs, they are no longer available from Kawasaki. I thought at one point I had some EBC reproductions but I can't find anything like that now. There are plenty of Ebay, but they are not cheap. This one seems to be the cheapest one listed at the moment.
