How would I add or change shock oil on these?

I have never messed with those shocks, but if they are in fact rebuildable, I reckon it would go something like this (minus the nitrogen bladder business)——

Abandoning those old things and the "air ride" system altogether was a subtle, sleeper mod that immediately produced a 110% improvement in the handling and all-round roadworthyness of my old KZ1100A2/O-RZ1135A1 daily flyer.

This would certainly be my choice.

I found this fork brace on Ebay for 40 bucks.
Couple minutes of polishing and it looks like new.

Still contemplating having it anodised black... Thoughts anyone?

I vote for black.

Meanwhile, back at the topic, if the factory shocks can be dismantled, finding new seals may not be possible. Putting them back together with leaky seals seems a great waste of time and effort to me.

Did you try to take them apart, or did yo decide to go another route?

texaskz - haven't had the time to tackle this booger yet, funds may be another issue as it just sounds expensive to conquer.

daveo - Yes nice to know your handling was then 110% difference. But I'd sure like to follow suit sometime
