Thanks for all of the tips. I thought I had read a post about sprocket or wheel alignment here before, but I can't find it now?? Using a combination of the methods above plus another I found on the internet using thread (yea, like sewing thread) everything seems to check out nicely. Now I have to get the hub polished or chromed so it doesn't stand out so much.

Well, I'm trying to post a picture. I have shrunk it to less than half the size and it's still too big. Is there a way to set the pixel number in paint or photo editor or any of those common programs? I always have to keep shrinking until it finally posts. I think I just hi-jacked my own thread...is that legal?? :) I'll try again in the next post...

OK, try number three...picture looks pretty small now.

Guess not small enough-

Maybe fourth time's a charm??

Success!!!! :)  :woohoo:

By the way, the wheel is a 6.0x17 with a 180/55-17.

if you are using a 6.0x17 wheel instead of the 5.5x17 you can go up on ur tire size. you can put a 190 or 200 or there as long as you chain dosent rubb. it will give your back tire a wider traction path. it wont be so rounded. i have a 180 on mine but the one my dad just got has a 190 on it and i think it looks alot better and you got more to plant on the pavment on those track days.

The original plan was to go with a 200mm tire, but the swingarm manufacturer said it wouldn't fit. I seem to have plenty of clearance with the 180, so I'll try a 190 at my next tire change. That shouldn't take too long, I don't get too many miles out of rear tires for some reason

I agree that the 190 and 200 tires look better, especially for a drag style bike. The 180 is really a road racing tire and is more rounded. Probably handles better in the twisties, but I'm setting it up for straight line performance anyway. Long and low ;)
