Ok:

I'm getting an oscillating squeaking sound from my front tire. Goes away with a very little braking. Is there a way to adjust the brake-pad clearance so I can back them off a bit and stop the squeaking? Is there something else I should be concerned about?

I don't want to think about the front disc being warped.

You could try applying a skin of silicone behind the pads,if it's a vibration squeek...OR...check out what this Guy did...

Hey mind2find,
Have you bled the brakes lately? What was the condition of the fluid? If the fluid in the caliper gets gummed up it can restrict the natural return effect of the seals and cause the brakes to drag. You may be experiencing the first symptom.
Sometimes, I find that just pumping some new fluid through is enough to get things freed up.
