Upper Triple Clamp for GPz1100

Does anyone know if an upper triple clamp from another model Kawasaki is directly interchangeable with the upper clamp on an '83 GPz1100? I'ld like to go with a proper Streetfighter riser bar, but I need handlebar clamps and don't want to spend a fortune on a custom machined one. Has anyone done a similar conversion?

never tried any, but maybe a KZ1000"J" or a later Police model? you might have to use top and bottom to get the same offsets.

That's an idea Bob, but now I'm wondering if it might not be easier to pick up another GPz1100 upper clamp and see if it can be machined to take a pair of handlebar clamps. Then it's a straight swap, except for a longer brake line and clutch cable.
