Oh...
I thought the stock pipes would interfere with a center stand, and it couldn't even be lowered.
So you have the stock Jardine pipes?
Got a picture of your bike?

You can put padding on the top .
I have another one that fits in my floor jack and the two parts that come in contact with the frame pivot. Roy

Looks like something I could rig up to fit between my pipes, and grab the front of the engine bottom.

:S     :huh:If it's just a one time deal to pull the front wheel, can't you just lay it on it's side in the grass, on a couple blankets? Remove the tank first so it doesn't leak?

I saw a guy do that in order to pressure wash the bottom of his bike and engine block, but I have not tried it me-self...I would be afeared.

I tried putting the floor jack under the engine, between the pipes, as far forward as possible.
I put a 2 x 4 block under the kickstand, and lifted the bike with the jack.
The jacking point was far enough out front to lift the front end. It wasn't real sturdy, and no good for extended maintenance. But OK for my wheel change.
