vetter bracket for an 80 ltd 1000

does anyone know if the frame is different on an 80 ltd 1000 with the kz 900 and 1000s?

i got an vetter bracket for a windjammer and the seller (ebay) said it would fit kz900s and 1000s. (i bought the bracket years ago but recently bought the jammer.) it doesn't fit. the flange behind the horn protrudes too much and prevents a solid mount.

any help greatly appreciated.

You just need to modify the Vetter brackets to fit, I used a GoldWing bracket on a 650, and a 750 twin bracket on an 82 KZ1000 CSR.
Just takes a little cutting, bending, and welding
