Air Fork Pressure was created by madderkaw
I recently purchased (the nicest thing I have ever gotten from cheese-bay, by the way) a pair of air adjustable forks from an 80 750 LTD. I plan on installing them on my 80 650 LTD over the winter. While looking through the KZR spec sheets on these bikes, I did not see a recommended air pressure, or a range of pressures that could be used. I also noticed that the stoke of the 750 fork is almost double (100mm vs. 180mm). is that correct? And if so, could it be a problem? I figured a fork from a heavier bike would ride a little firmer, which is what I was looking for. Since I added the double disc setup, my front end has been a little soft on the brakes and I was hoping that this fork would be the solution. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Don't know KZ but I run 12lb in my FT500. With your fatter tubes start at 8lb and see how it feels. Mine are skinny 37mm. Make sure nothing hits at full travel.

I think both bikes were real close to the same weight :)

Heavier oil in the forks might have helped (and still may be needed).

8-14 lbs. I just flushed my fluid and loaded mine up to 12 lbs, since I'm a big guy. Just about right for me, a little stiff, but it dives a lot less now.
