i realize this is pretty old post but...
i just tried my new craftsman mc/atv lift today and found that i'm the last to learn about the exhaust pipe issue with this lift. my own fault, i should have checked the archives before i bought it...
i happened across your old post about securing bar stock to the frame with hose clamps and wondered if you could offer any additional info. size/lenght of the bar stock? where to attach them to the frame etc.
i'd hate to have to get rid of the lift. it seems like a nice unit...
any info you (or anyone for that matter) has would be greatly appreciated.
(novice rider, only my second summer, still pretty ignorant about a lot of this stuff etc.)
oh, '79 kz1000st for reference. thanks.
