"Sorry Roger, you tiger now."
What was the original color? What other colors were available that year? Just a few suggestions.

You can't go wrong with a stock color scheme. Not necessarily correct for model or year, but a good looking reproduction of your favorite KZ scheme. Gives a classy look to your classic bike.
That being said, I am digging the purple bike in the back...

purple bike in back is 1000 and in desperate need of a resto. Its a friend of mines. The bike was orange originally but the orange I like is like the newer Nissan 350Z car.Not in love with the car but the paint is really sharp.

Personally,
I prefer the satin black for the frame. But, what look are you after? Stock? Flash? Metal? Candy?
Are you asking about frame color, or is painted silver already?

77B with drum brakes original paint was either candy red or green. 77C with discs came in silver or blue. Looks like a 77C you have there, not a B
321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

No Its definetly a 77B but I put the mags and rear disc on it.The OE paint was the red but by the time I got it it looked to be orange to me.Sorry to confuse folks!Im planning on leaving the frame gunmetal metalic.I originally was going with candy red,but now that its time to paint I got cold feet!Im not concerened with OE colors.I just want the bike to turn heads.
