The wife and I traveled to the Washington DC area this Christmas season. While staying with family we went down to the Ellipse to see the Nation's Christmas Tree. At first I was disappointed to see an artificial tree but soon learned that there was a real tree inside all those lights.
Of course, there was something for everyone. These train sets were only in the process of being set up.
On the way out we came upon this Christmas Manger scene. I was really gratified to see that there seemed to be no controversy with it's display.
