USA cars in UK cheap or not?

Hey there , just out of interest, we have many American cars in the uk and of course things like 67 fast back mustangs and 68 440 chargers always command anywhere between 50 to 100,000 pound. ..but we have many many us cars that fall into a cheap grey area and I can't help but wonder what the current value of some of these in the states would be. ...take this 77 Seville as an example , 42,000 miles, 350 V8 ,spare parts owners handbook etc, it has been sat around for years although the engine has been run regularly there would definitely be work ahead but the asking price is £1900 or $2500 which doesn't seem too bad for an old caddy. ..what do you guys think? Would this be a high or low asking price If it was in the states? :)

Those were made around the gas crunch and it only had a 350 cu in engine, the older Cadies were over 500 cu in.
The GM 350 V8 is the 900/1000 car engine of it's time, bullet proof, they put them in a lot of sports cars, easy to work on, but a Seville ain't no sports car, plus everyone including the bike makers were squaring up the body work and no one I knew like the look, I still don't.
I was a Lincoln man myself, had one of these back in the 70's only it was a putrid green, loved that car!

I like the classic Lincolns especially the early 60s continental, the build quality and robustness was right up there :) here's another one, originally from Florida, 400V8 C6 Trans, it recently sold in south London for £6000 :cheer:

Was the 2-door post 442 as rare as the Pontiac GTO 2 door post versions were? Way more GTO hardtops were sold than post versions.
