Video posting test

Did not work...
How do I post a video in order for members to see it directly in the post?
It is a .AVI file from my computer.
All I can do for now is to post a black video image with a "download icon" under it. Viewers must first download the video on their computer to see it.

Both test 2 and 3 works but not as expected.
Test 2 make you jump direclty to Flickr website (unless you do a RH click and open in a new window).
Test 3 open Flick in a new window.
How to post it directly in the post please?

Not sure you can, the way most do is to post on you tube and use the link for the video..

Steve on here, with the Z1B uses YOUTUBE. He posts his videos up to youtube then copies and pastes them in a post.
Which means you have to establish an account with that entity.
I'm sure there are several hosting sites, but getting too weird for me! The Gov. is already spying on me! I voted Trump!

Hello Claude,
I was considering adding an extension so that this site can play AVIs and MP4s directly however I decided against it when I realized that I'd have to open the site to huge uploads. I suggest that you upload your video to any of the streaming sites and link it here.
I'd suggest YouTube except that it belongs to Google. I loath Google!

Bill, I understant totally your position. So, I'll continue with Flickr as, while not perfect, it works good enough for now.
