riders in California was created by 80Z1R
I was wondering if there are any riders in the Mendocino County area. I live in Ukiah which is about two hours north of San Francisco. I am off highway 101 which is about an hour east of the coast. I ride a 1980 KZ1000 Z1R.

I am a few hours south of you, in Anaheim, however, I think there are some in San Francisco area. Try posting in the Chit Chat forum.

Welcome to KZr 80Z1R!
I know there are a few members who live out near you, but I've got a serious brain cramp right now and can't recall who they are for the life of me. :pinch:
I know Corey Clough lives in SF, and apeman is out in Berkely.
Have patience, I'm sure the KZr members in your area will pop in to say "Hi" soon.
And before I forget, please be sure to post some pics of your bike when time permits.

Just like R4 said, so I'm "poppin' in" to say hello. I'm in SF, and work in Walnut Creek. Bike is down getting the 615 Kit installed, but actually waiting for the cylinder head. I hope it should be up and running by March-ish. There's always B.A.R.F.

When I'm back in the saddle, I'll be looking to do a day ride of Hwy 36. My alltime favorite road!!!

The links below are great for finding backroads all over California.

Welcome 80Z1R,
I am in Berkeley, but am trying to get some more distance riding done on the occasional weekend. Post a pic of your ride. We always enjoy that. (Of course, I have been here for years, and I don't have any of mine posted up yet!)
Mendocino is beautiful country, with lots of long mountain and coast roads. Perfect for riding your Z.

Hi to all Californians and the Bay Area people,
Like apeman, I am also in Berkeley. Finishing up the work on my 650c3 and ready to ride.
