New guy!!!

I've been off and on looking for an older bike to buy, always had my eyes on an RD400 or Kawi triple, but I ran across this '77 KZ1000 that I like. What are the problem areas to look for on this bike? I'm sure I wont keep it stock! I'm a drag racer, so it will probably get dropped and extended, at least to get the right look. Just gonna be a weekend cruiser bike. What should I look for when I go to visit this bike? I have zero problems with mechanical issues, I have been working on cars at a dealer for a living for 12 years, so wrenching is a non issue. Just want a heads up on problem areas. check the basic stuff tires,brakes does bike look fairly complete?does it idle reasonably well,major oil leaks..........got any pictures?
