Learning a lot of good info. Happy to have found this site. Can't decide weather to go ride or start modifying my bike. Any riding or wrenching tips will be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Welcome to the fun!

My opinion, RIDE! Get used to your bike for a bit to see what you like and don't like about it. Certain projects take you off the streets for some time and there's nothing worse than a great day for a ride and your bike is in pieces. I save major projects for the colder months.

As for tips on wreching you'll find everything. All these people have been great on helping me on my bike.

Enjoy!

Yep. What Sixgun said - RIDE IT.

Fix anything mechanical needed to make her dependable, and go get some experience.

You've got all kinds of time to worry about lookin' pretty later - and will have a much better idea of what you want to do given a little time to think about the options... ;)

If you want more fun with ridng your bike and you are fairly young (over 40) I would change out those LTD cruiser bars to something more comfortable. Happy riding!
