My name is Chris and im about to become a new owner of an 81 GPz 550. Found this site linked on the CB forum im also a member on and figured i would come check it out. From what i have read thus far of the GPz it seems to be a hot rodded version of the KZ550. Is this correct?

As you can see its a lil rough...i do have both side covers...but they are off for the repairs to the wiring..well i should say attempt at repairs my roomate made before pretty much giving up on the bike. Main goals is to get the wiring sorted out...something i may actually see about tackling while the Honda beside it is in the shop...havent decided on that yet.
