I heard about this forum on a KLR list and decided to drop in. I have a 79 1000LTD B3 in the barn that I purchased new in '79. It has 18k miles on it and looks
exactly like one Dirtmagnit has in the classified section. I plan to get it back on the road this year.
I've been a Kawasaki owner for almost 35 years.
Bought my first (an F9 Bighorn) as a senior in high school in '73. So very long ago. It's in the barn too.
Looking forward to keeping up with the forums.
Pictures will have to wait till it's a little warmer.

Welcome! Glad you can join us. There's nothing wrong with a freeze frame, is there? Plenty of guys here who can help you get it back on the road. Looking forward to those pics.

We had ice the first week of December and it's mostly still here. My back drive has about 2" of ice cover. But it will thaw someday.. I'm almost sure it will. Say it will...it's been a long winter already. Forcast is for 32 on Friday. Time to break out the sun block!
