Name's Jack, I'm 24, live on the East Coast. Going to AZ in Aug to learn how to be a prof wrench for bikes.
Been riding a few years now. Have owned quite a range, from Italians, Japs, Brits... no Germans or Americans yet.
I've recently built a Triton thats not quite done and going onto the back burner for a year or two. I have a '76 Yamaha XS500C I have been working on quite a bit.
The KZP is my first bike over 450 pounds, first touring style. Everything else have been low slung roadsters. But I need a bike for all weather riding (minus snow), that I can strap everything to, and not worry about leaving outside for a bit over a year... so I decided on the police special.
I like this site, and I'm happy to be here.

The old 900GTS that Dad bought new in '77
The 2005 T100 Triumph Dad bought new, and my brother and I inherited, I have since given up rights to it to my bro (along with that Ducati above):
My '73 Triumph T140V when I got it a couple years ago:
Dad's Norton Atlas that he bought new when he was 21. The headlight bucket is off another bike I had that I swopped when I dropped mine and needed another headlight:

The '76 Yamaha XS500C that I am fixing up, painting red, and giving to one of my best friends as a 'first motorcycle'
And finally the Triton, which I started right after my dad died in July:
With the Triton, the idea was to combine my Triumph with Dad's Norton while keeping as much of the Norton's character as possible. The high pipes were a personal touch because I really dig them. I swopped the Amals (worn out) for JRC carbs which are nice cheep moderns with flat chrome slides. Did all the work myself, and even made many of the bits in our metal shop. Not quite done, and now has a while yet to go, as I'm going to rebuild the engine 100% when I finish up mechanics school.
There should also be a picture of a '04 Moto Guzzi 750 Breva in there someplace, but I can't find a good one. Also owned a '02 Royal Enfield for a while, and a '78 Yamaha XS750 that was horrible.. caught fire 3 times and never ran while I owned it.
Needless to say I am broke ALL the time, and working on bikes ALL the time. I gave up the 900GTS and T100 to my brother because I didn't feel like rebuilding it on my nickel to his imput. The T100 was dad's final love and I discovered I was afraid of dropping it, and I won't ride anything I am afraid of dropping - I just wish I'd figured it out before doing the Corbin seat.

Indeed, MMI it is. Ya, Orlando is closer, but I've been to AZ in July, and I've been to Florida in July, and frankly I prefer the dry heat over the damp heat.

You can say you now have an American bike, as I believe the P models were made in the Lincoln Nebraska plant IIRC.

She's quite a bike, and I'm thrilled, soon as I get the new switches rigged up - I'll be happier. That and new grips, the currents are mighty worn.
