Hello all,
I just bought a '79 KZ200 for my wife. She has decided that she wants to learn to ride and my other bikes are too big for her.
Although I have many years experience riding, this only my 2nd Kaw.I don't know much about it yet, but expect to become very familiar with it.
I just found this site today and so far, it looks great!
Lookin' forward to sharing some stuff with you.

Welcome Paul...I actually like the KZ200 and if I could find one (the are relatively rare) I'd buy it for a learner bike for my wife and daughters. My only sagely advice will be to find a genuine Kawasaki Heavy Industries shop manual (find it on eBay and with as many bikes as you already have, you probably already know about eBay:laugh: )

Got the new baby home today. It quit running on my test drive before I bought it and I had to push it back to the owners house......not all bad...helped in the negotiations. Pulled the float bowl and found the floats full of gas and the the slow jet plugged. Soldered up the floats and cleaned the jet and now it runs like a champ.Wifey put a couple miles on it going round and round in circles. tomorrow we hit the road.
Oh yeah, I know all about ebay!!

Thanks for the welcome. I look forward to hanging around here a
bit. As for the price...asking price was $500,after pushing back
to the house (1/2 mile)I got it for $350. Not a bad price
considering the condition.
