I've owned a few bikes in my 58 years, most of them have been Kaws and I currently have an '02 KLR650 in the barn also. This KZ is a fulfillment of a long lust affair I've had since the late 70's/early 80's so, I hoping this old hotrod will keep me busy and entertained for awhile since I'm a chronic tinkerer and buyer of tools.
I'm sure the questions will come if I can't satisfy them through the search function first so, until then, I'll see if I can post a pic of the scoot.

I like the KLR650 a lot! Next spring I'll learn where my daughter is going to college (read: how much it will cost me) and depending on that I hope to buy a KLR next year.

I bet your looking forward to 129 aren't ya? have fun with it!
I've had a lot of fun on the Dragon with the KLR but, I think it'll be awhile before I get too crazy on the KZ there. It needs some suspension work as the 28 year old shocks seem to be rather bouncy with my 220lb butt on there and the forks need rebuilding too.
It'll take awhile but, I'll get 'er dialed in.

Great looking bike. I'm from East Tennessee myself. Some of the best roads anywhere to ride.
How often do you go out ?
Go out?...Just for a ride, not as much as I'd like but, most everyday to work.
You know what they say...."Ride to work, work to ride"

We should all plan a ride to Florida or something. A gathering of the herd. I think we could pick up quite a few guys on the way.
