Hi to Everyone...I am a Newb was created by RyRoRyan
Hello all,
My name is Ryan and I am a proud owner of a 80' KZ750G1. I bought it for a dollar from my father in law to get it out of his lawn. It has been sitting there for about 16 years. (The last registration date expired in Apr 92'!) Needless to say I am working on resurecting it and hopefully getting it back on the road again. I am working on finding all the manuals and what not for it but bikes this old are not the easiest things to find parts and what not for.
I have already posted a few questions that I had in the Electrical and Carb section and hopefully a 750t pro will be able to guide me a little bit.
I have been successful in getting it running again...kind of. I tore the carbs apart and cleaned them up real good...did not have a kit so had to reuse all existing stuff. I cleaned out the tank and got a new battery. That was enough to make it turn over and actually start. It does not run great, but hopefully after a few questions are answered in the other threads that will change.
Anyway that is my story of this bike and me up to now.
Thanks for reading.

Good luck with the bike. At least it kinda runs. Now you get the pleasure of trying to get it to run good.

This is what I was informed when I joined so now I'm like a Japanese tourist... Thank GOD for digital imaging otherwise it would have cost me a mint in film developing...
And yes, that is crap stains in donthekawguy avatar. Now you'll understand our sense of humor here. Damn it, I still laugh every time I see that.
