New kid on the block with a taste for the old. was created by ben_vasa
Hi there, I've been waiting to find a respectable bike before I joined this site. A couple desperate months of searching led me to an old farmers' barn door. Swept off a couple decades of dust and saw my baby. a 1979 KZ1000 MKII. (A3A I believe) It had 5,788 original miles in 2008. Talk about shakin off the cobwebs! Kerker 4-1, individual intake pods and a fuel tank off of im guessing a 77 KZ. Brought it home and cleaned it up as good as i could, changed oil and cleaned carbs and fuel tank, i tried startin it up and it ran on 1 1/2 cylinders  only a couple months later now and its running on all four at least! I hope to show you boys at the end of winter a whole new showroom motorcycle! Enjoy.
