that aint no 80 kz1000 inyour first shot,thats an early 80s csr 1000
Today was the first time I've seen the bike. But now that you mention it....
Guess I joined the wrong site!!! But um, I kinda like it here. So I think I'm going to stick around. Even though I do feel foolish about posting pictures of my bike without actually knowing what it is.
1981? CSR 1000 -- I'll figure it out soon enough.

im from alton also.when you get the bike and get started if you need some help or if you need any parts let me know maybe i can help.we have a hand full of guys here in the area that ride the old kz 900s-1000s.and we have alot of parts and some running bikes for sale.we get together on the weekends and do some real nice rides,you are welcome to ride with us if you would like,we are always looking for more riders.looks like the bike just needs some t.l.c. i think it will make you a great ride.good luck with the bike and again let me know if there is any thing i can help you with. steve

I live just up the river road in Grafton. I'm one of the guys that Madkaw1200 rides with. I'll be glad to throw in a hand as well getting your CSR up to par. Madkaw's my local KZ guru. He's helped me out with quite a few things.
