Well, there are TWO kinds of moose in Manitoba.....Do you have to watch out for Moose?
1) the four-legged kind....but they're mostly up in the north part of the province so no probs cuz the roads up there are more boring than the roads down south (if that's possible)....so no reason to go up there to ride 'em AND have to dodge moose into the bargain. There ARE some in the very south-east part of the province...but there are very few roads there anyway.
2)the two-legged kind that play Triple A baseball in Winterpeg....as in "Manitoba Moose". They're NO danger to anyone, believe me.
Nope, if you want REAL riding roads, ya gotta head into the Kootenays of southern BC....and all the valleys further west towards the coast. Now those are REAL ridin' roads, IMO.

i'm thinking we should just start a new country, North America where the only vehicle allowed besides highway tractors would be some version of 70's or 80's kawi's.we have a small population up here in the winter we could migrate south like the birds and live warmly until spring when we would give you americans your land back until the next fall. do i hear an amen.
Amen! Just moved back out to Regina from Edmonton and already I'm missing the few "twisties" (all the BC boys laugh) around there. I vote we locate this country at Sandy's house
Welcome aboard Andy!
