no extended marathons of busting knuckles and pulling hair(wait, I don't have any hair). My wife wife and daughter both work schedules that are always changing, so more often than not I'm home alone anyway, except for the 6 dogs and 5 birds.

Very sorry for your loss,Robert.(very sad)
You'll get the bike together, and running like a champ before you know it.
Yes,the Hooligans here have great knowledge and ideas,so post away as you see fit.

Welcome to KZR Butch! I'm very sorry for your loss the depth of which I'm sure only you can comprehend.
I think that spending time on his bike will probably be a great way to start to come to grips with your pain.
Do the work! We'll help if we can.

I hate to hear that about your son, but it sounds like you've got the right attitude.
Slow & steady gets it done. Just keep laboring along and one day you'll look up and there will be a complete running motorcycle.

Found the tach I was looking for on Ebay. Cost me 25.00US, and looks to be in great shape. I only tell you because you said you might have one laying around. No need to continue looking for it

Hi Butch,
Welcome to KZRider. I am so sorry for your loss, call me, you got my number.
I'll help you if you want to let me, as I live nearby.
And then someday this summer we Okies must get a KZ gathering together, maybe a run to Mt. Scott and a Meer's burger?
