Just got in here and must say it is a nice site. I look forward to checking in daily. My bike is a 79 KZ1000 MKII and is the first bike I have ever restored/messed with. I am a custom painter and did all the work myself...with a little help from my best friend Jeff Dennis. I got the bike in 2001 from a friend and it sat outside(only had 9,018 original miles on it none the less) for nearly 10 years. It sat in my garage for 6 years dis-assembled before I got off my duff and got busy. What you see is the result of my efforts. I LOVE this bike. It is a blast to ride. Anyway...hope you like it.

Welcome to KZR. Very NICE, looks like some nice goodies on there like the Lester on Moris wheels and I think a Yoshimura pipe. Looks like you did a great job on the bike. Where do you live? There's lots of us that ride our bikes too.

Thanks Mark...I am in Zanesville, Ohio...about 50 miles East of Columbus. You are dead on...Lester Mags and Yoshimura pipe...from a VERY dear(now deceased) friend of mines 78 kZ1000 that now rolls 1/4 mile at a time. I LOVED his bike as a small boy, and did what I could do to make it sililiar. Especially the SOUND. Glad you like it.
