Hey All,
I don't know if I ever even posted back in the day when I was a lurking owner of Zephyr 550. I'm working on a 75 Z1B for a friend right now. It was his son's bike originally. His son died in a car wreck about 9 years ago and the poor Z has sat in his garage. I told him to pull it out and let me have a go at it. It's been changed a little, but suprisingly, it's very complete. I got it cranked the last weekend, but it needs some serious work to be road-worthy. I've got the engine out and cases split to hunt down some shifting porblems for now. His wife was very stoked to her son's Z running again. Made me feel good. I'll try to post some pics of my dorky self riding it.

How cool, it sounds like the family will love the finished bike. Good luck with the rebuild and post some more pix, it looks like a nice bike.
