I'm starting a new project was created by gearhead119
Hello there KZ guys.. name is Eric. I have recently started a new build and keep being referenced back to this site so ... here I am. Always in the hunt for new ideas, mods, inspiration... I have been a member of the ZRXOA for some time and decided to put the REX aside for a bit a turn my atention to this bike. KZ1000 (78 i think) and a kz1000 engine (80 i think). I have to Stock rear arm/wheel/brakes/etc. off of my 2000 zrx1100 which is getting grafted onto the kzframe. still on the search for a front end...? I will keep all of you updated with pics and info as I go...
Till then here is a pic of my current bike and most recent project (it'll never be finished!)

Yes I made everything myself...blowthrough turbo system, 6"zx6 swingarm, etc. did lots of research on the zrxoa. ( very good turbo forum!!) makin the stuff is most of the fun!! that is why i have got a new itch that needs scratched. The rex is to the point where I just need to lighten everything up and is more of a Parts replacement project now... (other than possibly an intercooler addition). The new kz bike has me back in my element... building stuff. I'm goin for a short and stout street fighter type bike now. nothing with quite the power of the turbo bike but somthing fun around town. not looking for a lot of longevity.. just a high compression motor, wheels, tank, contorls, ... .. thats about it. basic, simple, quick... and needs to be able to wheelie... (the stretched arm got rid of my wheelie factor and I want a bike that has that again)
